Question about Maytag MDB9100A Dishwasher
Our dishwasher will complete a cycle, the tub completely drained, and in a few hours I can come back and find the tub full of water. This started a few months ago with only happening occasionally. We checked filters and drainage system. Dishwasher will drain completely after a cycle and will also drain when I push the drain button on the front panel...the water just comes back later....any ideas???
Problem is actually a water valve that is near the water inlet. Cost is about 35 bucks to fix unless you listen to the guy on here and pay for parts that you don't need and pay them 20bucks for bad advice. Our total cost to fix this $35 dollar problem was an entire wasted Sat, 2 trips to the appliance repair parts place, $130 for the electrical control board that the "wiz" here said I needed--electronic parts and non returnable so we now have a new one that we didn't need.

I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...
