Go to the router settings(insert the http://+router ip address and hit enter) and check the wi fi settings ..
The first thing to check is if the security is not selected by the mac adress I mean there is such a option and it makes the selection by certain mac addresses allowed..
Second change the channel ...there are channels from 1 to 12 and each one in a different bandwidth so ..change one by one ..cause It is the possibility that it is set in one that is not covered by the iphone..(depending the country and such )
3rd Verify that your Wi-Fi router firmware is up-to-date.
This is important if your Wi-Fi router supports 802.11n, as it may still be using the draft specification of the 802.11n standard. For third-party Wi- Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
Use WPA or WPA2 wireless security
Check the wireless security option of your Wi-Fi router. If WEP is being used, try using WPA or WPA2.
Some Wi-Fi routers using WEP wireless security may cause intermittent disconnects to iphone which requires re-typing a password. Using WPA or WPA2 wireless security on your network will correct this issue.
Note: WPA and WPA2 encryption protocols are newer, more effective security options for wireless networks than the older WEP protocol.
In fact try to ge rid of all security ..wer or wpa...and the selection by the mac address...just let the connection non security ...and see the connection problems first ..the issue may be from apple ..cause I keep reading about some wi fi problems that they have on some I pad and Iphone ..or is one related with the bandwidth and channel..

Ehome router

D-Link ehome routers are okay for laptops, which have a more robust transmitter, and better antenna for connecting to wifi. iPhones and iPads aren't that lucky. When you get close to the router, I assume they work good. Best bet is to return it and get a stronger router, Even from D-Link, a company whose products are outstanding. You could also get a signal booster, and connect it in the ares where you are having intermittent connectivity.

Iphone can't use home wifi

just confirm if the password you have for internet is correct or not.
Now do the manual security settings in your phone same as of router. Like security type & password both.
check for the phone wi-fi, and use it.

Random wi-fi dropping

Go to the linksys website, see if they have a firmware flash for the router, that may help in some connectivity issues. You may also find that the ipad/iphone may drop connections when battery levels are low

Windows vista laptop lost connection to the internet

Start off simple. Try a different port on the router. If that doesn't work, try a new cable. If that doesn't work, go to the Device Manager in Windows. (Right-click My Computer, select Manage, go to Device Manager). Does the card look okay? Has it been disabled or need a driver update? If we're still looking at issues then I would take a look at your router security. How many DHCP licences do you allowed to be assigned? Also do you have security in place (WEP/WPA, Mac Filtering, SSID Broadcast)? If you are light on security and only have a few assignable DHCP licences, you may have neighbors leeching your internet access.

To clarify: DHCP assigns a network IP address to each device on its network. Most Linkys routers have a default of 10, you may have reduced this yourself. If you have, you've limited the # of devices allowed on the network. So if you have 3 DHCP licenses available, and a couple neighbors are leeching, your Dell may not get assigned an ip.

If you still need further help, let me know.
