Runs fine Doesn't dry clothes, not enough heat?

Hi,
You will first need to determine where the problem is, I would disconnect the dryer vent from the dryer. Now if the drying improves, problem is not the dryer, its the vent system. If no change, does the unit heat at first then slowly fail to heat? Does it produce any heat? I need more information to direct you in the correct direction.

Dryer will produce heat but will not dry clothes

Greetings,
several things to check...i usually pull the vent off of dryer and run load of cloths..if it drys ok...we know the vent was the issue..if its vented to the roof..the screen usually gets stopped up inside the hood. if it still doe's not dry with the vent off. there has to be an air circulation problem.. Check the blower wheel fitting tight enough...they come loose, but normally have noise along with it...

My dryer DLE 2514W does not dry the clothes enought, we have to put it on for a second time to get them all dry. Seems to be alot of heat but doesnt dry the clothes

disconnect vent hose and run a load of clothes, if they are dry then the vent hose is restricted/clogged. if for some reason it is doing the same then take dryer apart and clean from lint screen back, I am almost certain that it is the vent tube.

The dryer heats but not enought to dry the clothes... I have to run it about 5 to 7 times to dry the same load.... what could it be?

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

Dryer is taking too long to dry clothes, even on AccuDry setting for Jeans/towels - it still is heating, just not heating enought to dry clothes, I have been doing two cycles at least for a very small...

Your house vent is restricted causing the long time to dry complaint.
Please clean the entire vent to the outside.
Also make sure the vent behind the dryer does not get smashed when the dryer is pushed back to the wall.

My dryer spins and heat just a little but not enough to dry any clothes

Need to change the heater filament. The heater filament has several portions to produce heat. As it ages, some portions are not producing heat anymore hence the total heat produced by an old filament can not put out as much as originally designed.
