Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
My Lenovo 3000 n200 0769-bng fails to reach Windows, instead, its recovery tool appears.
Anyway, when I ran one of the offered tools, a "PC Doctor for Rescue and Recovery" tool, everything passed except for SMBIOS Standard Test, which failed.
sounds like you may have a corrupt Bios.
Locate the manufacturers site, via another computer.
And see if they have a bios update to download.
*****Be careful, An unsuccesful bios Flash may render Your Computer Useless*** If you can enter bios at startup, find the page which allows you to restore setup defaults, save and exit to cmos.
