Step 1: Replacement XBOX 360 DVD Drive
Please Note: Once you have the drive in MODE B you will notice it will take 3 presses on the eject button to close the drive.
Make sure you can identify the backup firmware in future by placing it in a directory that matches the serial number which is located on the sticker of the dvdrom drive. This will make it much easier to identify in the future. When the firmware is backed up it will ask you if you want to open it. Choose "yes".
Please note: - Spoofing a drive as itself has the effect of UNSPOOFING it
Step2: Flashing the Replacement Drive

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Click on Start, Run, and type regedit and press Enter
Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.
If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete
After deleting the keys, close the registry editor
Reboot your computer
Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.
hope this helps you
