Most times eoo1 can be reset in service mode if there is no damage to fixing unit. 1) Enter service mode.
Press the operation panel user mode key, 2 key, 8 key and user mode key in this order.
2) scroll to "clear" and press ok then scroll to "err" and press ok.

if that does not work you can go back into service mode as above and instead of scrolling to "err" scroll to "all" and press ok. power off then on. doing this will clear settings service techs might have made but i've done quite a few and had no probs

A E001 code is a fixing unit error code, it is not reading the right temp. of the fixing unit. It may be resetable or you may need a new fixing unit.

The E007 is that the film HP is not bing seen. You may have to run the film HP search or run the fixing film funcation. The Eoo1 is the solid heating element is failing. Replacing the whole fixing unit should clear your problem, but you have to rest the codes once you turn it on. Most times it clears right up, but you may also have a power supply problem. Good Luck

My canon iR2016 has a system error E001

Hello,
the e001 is error for temperature rise by main thermistor. If the termistor OK and doesn't need to be replaced you can clear the error in service mode. If clear doesnt helps, you need to change the fixing film assy.

Clearing error:
Press the User mode key, 2key, 8key,
User mode key sequentially
now you are in service mode, by arrow right, select #CLEAR, press OK, choose ERR and OK.

Also you can try with same procedure but instead ERR choose ALL. NOTE: under clear ALL, you delete all user data and restors the copier on factory settings.

Hope that helps!

hi... try to clean up your copier... usually dust accumulates inside the copier that's why paper inserted will always jam....always see to it that you copier is free from dust and other small particles that would cause your machine to get errors....
