si el problema es el driver download from your supplier Toshiba, according with your model, etc. uninstall the old one, and install the new driver update. The old driver must be corrupted. Usted tiene que pasar el antivirus+antimalware para limpieza y proteccion.
I might advise you to reinstall the operating system of the computer there is something that is not working properly on the operating system, maybe there are some corrupted file in to it. or it a virus cause.
This, is a link to Toshiba Tecra A2 disassembly guide, with photos and instructions. The Satellite A55 uses the same disassembly instructions. http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Tecra-A2/notebook-disassembly-guide.htm At the bottom you will see Page 1: Page 2: Page 3: Page 4: When you go to the link, you will be on Page 1.
I don't have any information on a users guide at present, but will post back when I do. You may also find this useful, http://www.irisvista.com/tech/
Hi there. There may not be anything wrong it. CD/DVD drives use Class Filters, instead of the usual drivers that we would associate most computer hardware with. These are installed when the Operating System is setup, as Class Filters only add functionality of the drive with the Operating System. They are also available from the motherboard manufacturer's website, (these are known as Motherboard Drivers and Chipset Drivers). They can also be obtained via the Toshiba website here:
All you need to do, is select your notebook type and model. Then scroll down till you find either the DVD_RAM driver and/or Chipset Driver that go with your Operating System. Download them and install. This should correct the problem.
Some M2 driver (wireless, LAN) work on M1. I think the video is a Trident XP4 32 MB, download drivers from Trident website . You can download some driver from here, I do not know if they work, as this is not Toshiba original site. Unfortunately Toshiba does not distribute drivers for some discontinued model.
Select the portables -> Satellite -> then the model
There you will find all the drivers for the laptop
to burn them to a cd first download them all then you can use the windows build in burner.. to drag and drop all the downloaded files into the cd drive (I assume you have a drive which can burn a cd) Then select burn these files into the cd.
IF you need more assistance with this let me know.
