Can i hook up my PC to my sterio system through the headphone jack on the stereo to the PC HEadphone jack? been trying to get it to work on Auxilary but no sound :( please help

If you are still working on the question you asked about. This is what I would do. One of two things:

First: purchase an adapter that goes from your laptop 3.5 mm headphone jack to the microphone input if there is one.

Second: Would be to purchase what is called a "Cassette Tape Adapter". This will take your 3.5 mm headphone jack and play it through your cassette tape area of your stereo.

I hope one of these is a solution that will help you. -- wicc --

Where is the aux jack for the RCA RS 2620 bookshelf stereo?

The Aux audio L/R input jacks are below the On/Off button on the left side of the front of the stereo's main unit. The headphone jack is just below the input jacks. You will probably need an adapter to split the stereo output from the Blackberry (probably a 3.5 mm stereo jack) to the L/R jacks.

Radio Shack has the manual for the RCA RS2620 here: http://support.radioshack.com/support_audio/doc72/72312.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Getting distorted sound when connecting from mac pc headphone jack to 1/4" line in input

You are connecting a NOISY unbalnced line to a balanced input. Buy a DI box and then use an XLR to XLR to the mixer inout and run the MAC into the DI with "ground lifted". You will need to make a resistive mixer between the headphone jack and the DI as well. The headphone jack is STEREO. You COULD try a STEREO 1/8 inch splitter to 1/4 inch left and right cable... you MIGHT get away with that. Right now the left and right amps in the MAC are fighting eachother.

I have a VI210 big tv and want to put wireless head phone on it. I need to know if there is a jack for head phone if not where do I plug it in

Most TV's will have some kind of stereo output - if not in the form of a 3.5mm headphone jack, then in the form of two RCA outputs (Left and Right).
If you can't physically see a headphone jack on the back, bottom, sides, or front of your TV, it probably doesn't have one. However, You can plug an RCA to 3.5mm female adapter cable into your TV and plug your headphone receiver into that!

Sound through headphones only.

Try the speakers on another computer, to see if they work at all. If they do, then the problem is the audio-interface on your computer (or DVD-player, or home-stereo system).

Sony Vaio VGN 'B series' - broken headphone jack.

Hi there, your question has two way you can fix it:
1) see speaker jack circiut on your motherboard, picture here

a0f7721.jpg
there are 5 pins to the jack socket, you may just find out 2 and 3 pin which is stereo audio output lines, and also need a ground 5 pin. then connect 3 wires go outside speaker. this way quite tough for you.
if you cannt do this way go next
2) find a USB audio card instead of onboard one. this is very easy.
reference here:

hope help you something fixed, please take a rating let me know how much helped you thanks! keep in touch your question

Fixed broken headphones but sound quality has plummeted

it sounds as if the wires are wired wrong . yes it is best to solder the wires.all jacks are the same, yours will be stereo i believe. is the braid attached to the earth point, the two other wires attach to the centre of the plug and the other terminal point. these are right and left.

D510 how can I hook up to my stereo?

The two ports on the laptop are most likely a mic input and a headphone output.
Connect a cable (stereo) from the headphone output to the stereo input of your amp.
