check all safety switches that is in line with gas regulator to make its not open. if all switches are closed then check at gas valve or regulator you should have 24volts. if you get 24volts there that mean you gas regulator is defected.

Looking for a gas valve for a intertherm furance model no. mgh-055aacwl-06 ser.number mgh9009-00077

you need to contact your nearest a/c supply house. most company's that sale parts on line will not sale gas valves to the public due to liability.

I have a Coleman Natual gas forced air Model 7970C856 The poilet light stays on but furance burner does not kick on. What could it be?

Hello, this could be a problem with the thermocouple or gas valve. Start by replacing the thermocouple since it is very inexpensive, if that does not get it going sounds like the gas valve will need to be replaced

When I turn on my furance or ac the blower is always on even though the fan is set to auto. When it is on heat it never gives off any hot air, so it never warms up the house. I had someone look at it and...

If this is a mobile home furnace they usually have a two stage gas valve. Generally they just have a delay in opening fully and are convertable from L.P to natural gas or vice versa. It is a possibilty that the gas valve is bad. If so it will have to be replaced. First I would have someone check your thermostat to see if that is what is causeing the blower to run . does the burner ever light? I wouldsuggest that you hire a service tech. who is knowledgable on intertherm furnaces. I don't recommend anyone who is not trained to change gas valves, because of safty concerns. I hope this helps you some. Thanks

I have a new York hybrid heat pump/gas furance

Did they check the sensor in the plenum. You are suppose to have bonnet sensor to switch from heat heat pump to gas whaen it is to cold for the heat pump. The bonnet sensor may be to bad. The unit is cycling ever five minutes because it may have five minute time delay.

if you are getting power to the gas valve, then all of the safety switches should be closed. if you have any drain lines off of the inducer fan and at the bottom of the heat exchanger, make sure they have a trap and have water in them. the pressure switch may be the culprit.

Problems with Furnace

On is just the blower fan nothing else, check to see if there is a reset button in the tstat or tripped over load inside the furnace, inside the furance is some safetys, you will see wires runing from each other and finaly to the gas valve, push each untill one of them clicks, then your furnace should start back working, but I would still have someone come out and check why it tripped, because as I said it is a safety, and when it tripps it is for a reason.
