Question about Garmin nuvi 1390T Car GPS Receiver
I have had it 24 hours.
Used it today and turned it off, storing it in my case in the console of car.
Went to use it again and it went through the Garmin Screen, locking up at the photo I have selected as a sort of Wallpaper,
Even while plugged into the computer, I can see the status bar at the bottom of the GPS hang up at about 5%.
The computer never recognizes it.
Any way to do a hard reboot or something?
You can try a reset by performing the following, just keep in mind that any favorites and waypoints that you might have entered will be erased.
1. Start with the unit OFF and unplugged from power
2. Touch and hold the lower right corner of the screen with an index finger or the eraser end of a pencil
3. Continue touching and holding the lower right hand corner of the screen then power the unit ON
4. Release the power button when the device powers ON
o You will see a new message: Do you really want to erase all user data?
5. Remove your finger from the touch screen when this message displays
6. Touch Yes
The device will automatically reset.
Please let me know if if helps
