I have a Sharp W/R - 23 1900W microwave which has started displaying ERR 2 and ERR 4 codes. Machine still works but have to stop and start when these come up. Is there an easy fix or an expensive one. Thanks Guy

Re: Microwave error code
EE4 means the line voltage is too high. Usually this is fixed by resetting the voltage selector on the back.
The voltage selector may not look like a switch, looking rather like a metal panel that has to be taken off and reoriented. There will be a label next to it indicating a voltage number.
EE2 actually means that the control circuit senses that magnetron number 2 is not running.
It doesn't necessarily mean a bad magnetron.
This can be due to a bad or misaligned door switch (common), a failed relay (#3) on the control panel, or a failed high voltage component such as transformer #2, capacitor #2, rectifier #2 or magnetron #2 or loose connections anywhere along the chain.
We have a similar model's service manual on our site. Please not that yours may be different! Part numbers will probably not match. But it will help with safety, disassembly, discharge and diagnosis.

F6 —Microwave Relay Failure: Check the microwave relay.
The F6 error code which is flashing on your microwave refers to a faulty relay. However, I would suggest that you first try to run a diagnostic (which you may not be able to, but it is beneficial if it works). Here is how:
The microwave oven may be provided with a self diagnostic routine that can be operated through the touch pad keyboard. To enter the self-diagnostic routine:
1.While pressing the CANCEL keypad:
a) Open the oven door.
b) Unplug the microwave oven for 2-seconds and plug it back in.
c) Release the CANCEL keypad and close the oven door.
NOTE: The humidity sensor test results will appear on the display after 8-seconds.If the tests are successful, "OK " will be displayed. If one or more of the tests fail, "ERR " will be displayed.. 2.When a keypad is pressed, a number according to the test chart will be displayed. When no keypad is pressed, a blank "—" is displayed.
If you want to try to fix it your self, Always remember Electricity is dangerous and should be treated with respect.
Microwaves are very dangerous, they can still shock you even unplugged!!
Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it. With the microwave unplugged.

Hello Hec1152, I have found the manufacturer contact information for you, but could not find information about the error code. If everything works fine, but the microwave is not heating your food, then the problem is most likely the magnatron or one of it's components, which sadly to say is the most expensive part to replace. Please feel free to contact the manufacturer via phone or live chat to get more details as to what the error code means.
If you would not mind, could you please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it.
