Need more clerification. however you should routinely spray all fittings plastic and metal with silicon spray two times per year this is a huge help when it comes time to make repairs. you may have to soak the parts with wd 40 or silicon lube you can use a toarch to heat metal parts like bolts to free up. once all bolts are off you may need to tap the pump housing with a hammer to know free, make sure you have removed the impeller from the shaft use a nut driver to tap out the old seal from the pump housing or pry it out with a screw driver you should use some silicon when replacing the seal to the seal plate to insure no leak after replacement. always use silicon lube or spray lube on all parts and orings or plastic dont listen to what the manufaturer says they want you to spend more money on cheap made items that are overpriced

Where can I find a diagram to fix a pump K55MYGRD-8367

this can be a hard pump to service. but you can remove the front pump housing and see if you can remove the impeller by hand, the back of the motor will have a screwdriver slot in the shaft to hold the rotor still while attempting to unscrew the impeller. after removing impeller you will need to remove the 4 thru bolts this will allow you access to the ceramic portion of the shaft seal assembly.
replace all needed parts and reassemble. never run pumps dry always prime the pump with water.
doing this job can save you a bunch of money and usually cost about $150 at my shop.

How hard is it to change the motor out in an Emerson pool pump model k63cxese4793 (Challenger Pyrex triton)

NOT tat bad, (first x2) shut breaker off next take off the stainless steel band, pull motor and seal plate back from plumbing portion use wrench on back of the shaft of the motor, impeller screws off to the left, take out 4 9/16 bolts that attach the motor to the seal plate, give seal plate a tug and it should separate from the motor. use new seals especially the shaft seal (the one w/the spring in it) and put it back together. tap on the SS band this allows it to evenly pull up around the tank body lastly FILL PUMP (prime) with water.
or search for your LOCAL POOL PUMP MOTOR REPAIR GUY. and ask about installing the motor on the seal plate.
I charge $20 and it includes the shaft seal (most pumps)

I replaced emerson 1hp pump to my hayward max pump and leaks any ideas all seals replaced

Hi, this is John the Hayward tech. Sounds like the mechanical seal is leaking. If you replace the spring loaded seal the problem could be that it was installed backwards. It is ceramic against carbon. if installed the other way it will leak. Any debris or oils getting on the seal will also cause it to fail Running pump without any water will heat up the seal and cause it to fail.

Spa pump k55mygrd-8367

Most common and likely situation with this,... mechanical pump shaft seal has failed. This allowed water to enter into the electrical motor and lubrication from the front bearing had been washed away. The purpose of the shaft seal is to keep the water OUT of the motor!
Now as motor spins, bearings with less lubrication gets a lot hotter!
And... When metal gets hot, it gets soft! What was once perfectly round and lubricated, is now getting oblong or square and not lubricated. Square bearings don't spin well and are not as quiet as round bearings! Hence your loud noise. Oil on the shaft will do nothing. You either need to replace both bearings, front and back, and absolutely replace the shaft seal or, replace the motor and the shaft seal.

My Emerson motor model k63cxese 4792. It is making a loud noise. I was told the capacitor might be bad. Does anyone know how to replace the capacitor? Thank you

Capacitors don't make noise. The purpose of a capacitor, is to provide a jumpstart to assist the motor to begin spinning. What makes a pool motor noisy, is bad bearings. At one point or another is possible that your mechanical pump shaft seal had failed, and allow the water to enter the electric motor, and wash away the lubrication in the front bearing.

either replace the bearings or the motor.

Emerson EB848 is leaking, running hot and tripping the circuit breaker

How old is the motor?
If new is it the same hp as the old one?
if no and it's a lower hp motor did you replace the impeller to match the decrease in hp?
if no..this is why it's running hot.

the leak is an easy fix. you need to replace the pump seal. there are four main seals used in pools and spas but I cant tell you the one you need with out knowing the brand of the wet end.

water + electricity will usually trip a braker......

Emerson R63mwena-4727 is Leaking

From where?
possibly from under neath near the motor shaft
If so, then you have a failed shaft seal!
you will then need the information for the pump: Mike make and model. Emerson is not the manufacturer of the pump and any information off of the motor label will be of no use. You need information off of the pump.

I'm trying to find a seal kit for a Emerson spa pump Model #T55MWCCE-1208

The seals are specific to the Jacuzzi pump housing not to the Emerson motor. Most Jacuzzi pumps use the PS-200 or PS-201 seal (some have it listed as AS-20X) here is a Pump Seal Cross Reference.

How to replace the seal on a amerson 1081 pool pump

Thank you for posting your question here on

What brand is your pump? Emerson and 1081 are motor related pieces of information. In general the process is the same for any brand...Disassemble the pump, lock the motor shaft at the end opposite the pump, spin off the impeller, replace both halves of the seal and assemble in reverse order. If you need more specific directions, please comment with the brand and model of your pump.

If this answer does not fix your problem, please comment with additional details prior to rating the answer. Positive feedback is appreciated once your problem is solved!
