Hi, go to the "Start Menu," type in the Start Search window; (power), in the next window there will be a "list" of Options in the "Task area, choose the "Sleep and Wake Up category, change the "wake up" this will stop the computer from starting up on its own. "Rating the solution on its helpfulness is appreciated, thanks."

So my laptop froze yesterday and I turned it off to restart it. When I restarted it it everything was normal but after the starting windows goes away it usually goes to the login page well now all it does...

Try starting it in safe mode.
When the computer is starting just after the beep or when the bios info goes away press f8 repeatedly and you will get an option to open in regular or safe mode.
Alternativly you can also hold down teh ctrl key and it should do the same.
Did you install or update and drivers recently?

It keeps restarting why?

This occurs when an virus-infected device is plugged (or has been plugged) into the usb hub of your computer. Please, ensure that no device is attached to you computer in any way, then restart. Once this is taken care of, and your system still refuses to start, you will need to reinstall windows. Get a bootable windows cd and install. After this always ensure you use a very efficient antivirus program, to avoid this, okay. Hope this helped.

How do i reboot my thinkpad t60 ?

If this is a serious question, then the answer depends upon the version of Windows you are using.
Usually, you simply click on the Start Button in the lower left corner of your monitor/screen, then look for options to Shut Down, or Shut Down and Restart.
Failing to find those items you can always use CTRL+ALT+DEL and when the result of that comes up, look for Restart as an option.
Best thing you can do is to find the Help options and read what Microsoft has written about controlling Windows. Find their Tutorial and spend some time reading and following it.

My laptop beeds a restart, but i always get

It should also indicate which key to press to get into system configuration (usually Del, F1, or F2). Go through the settings and find "Shadow System BIOS" or something similar and set it to disabled.

BIOS Shadowing copies the system bios from ROM to RAM when the system starts, and is un-necessary in modern computers.

Pressing and holding the power button will shut down your computer. Then you can restart it. You can also tell the computer to restart with the restart command but that does not alway work depending on the problem.
