Question about Poulan Pro 42CC 2 Cycle Chainsaw, 18"
Check the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Make sure the carburetor fasteners are tight. If still no help, remove the carburetor, clean it inside and out with spray carburetor cleaner. Check the diaphragm in the lower chamber for flexibility, no cracks or holes. Make sure the components behind the carburetor are in good condition and no plugging of the impulse passage that comes from the crankcase out to the carburetor base. Hope that some of this helps!
