We have Brazilian f5 that ignites the flame but when we release the knob it goes out

Either the thermocouple has failed or it is not heated up enough to keep gas flow going when you release the button. Also could be contaminated fuel. try holding the button for about ten seconds longer, If it still goes out when released, Either the fuel isn't burning hot enough or the thermocoulpe is failing.

GE Range oven don't work. Igniter comes on, no gas is released

I recently had a problem with my gas oven, where I could see the igniter glowing but the gas was not coming on, just like your problem. I found out that the igniter needs to draw a certain level of current to allow the gas valve to open. Although I could see mine glowing, it had broken down enough over time to where the current draw was no longer enough. And the igniter is the "weakest link" in the system.
Replace the igniter. It worked for me!

Samsung Refregirator RS267LABP is 4 years old. Shows -4 on Freezer and 38 on Fridge but not cooling. All items inside are getting spoiled

38 on Fridge is not enough to cool refrigerator. Please check there is fan, (working ) to spread the cooling to refrigerator compartment. Switch off and restart, if any chock in system could release the gas circulation. If problem still, release gas and flush out system, vacuum and do gas charging. Thanks.

Gas cap door will not open when release latch is

You might try having a friend bump the gas cover with the heel of their hand while you **** briskly on the release. Have done this a couple of times and once opened, you can use a little lubricant on the exposed parts. Sometimes that is enough.

Pilot low when release button, goes out after turn on

Try replacing the pilot generator which is in the pilot assembly. It is the piece with a silver cable coming out of it and that cable splits open into a red and white wire at the gas valve, That piece holds the valve open once it is hot enough and is likely not putting out enough voltage to do its job.

Gas ignites but goes out after 15 or 20 seconds

Hello gdurawa
Welcome to Fixya
My name is Huum,

You said, upon starting my Kenmore gas dryer the igniter glows and the gas ignites, but the gas goes out after 15 or 20 seconds - clothes don't dry.

This means either the igniter is bad and not getting hot enough to make the gas continue to release completely and stay open, so it shut off.
or you have a bad gas module.
Or a bad gas valve without enough pressure.
Needs to be diagnosed hands on at your location .

Need to know ohm reading

When room temp, you'll see about 80 ohms. As it heats the resistance goes up, and thus the amperage draw goes up, which is the critical component to release of gas and thus ignition. The ignitor needs to reach 3.2 to 3.6 amps before the gas safety valve will open and release the gas for ignition. Old ignitors get weak and even if they still glow they may not draw enough amperage to allow the oven to work. Also, low voltage will result in lower amperage draw and possible ignition problems.
