Question about ASUS (WL-167G) 802.11g/b (wl167g) Wireless Adapter
ASUS WL-167g is connected to desktop Macintosh through USB2 connecter. On the window Wireless Utility Site Survey I see SSID, BSSID Signal and Channel and I see green hand shake. Link Status also looks good, signal and Link Quality are good. However literally in 2-3 minutes signal disappeared. To restore connection I need disconnect and connect back receiver WL 167g
Do you know if reciever WL-167G is using any type of password or wireless security protocol?
Is it possible that the router is set to only allow certain mac addresses to connect?
can you log into the router to check its records and wireless settings?
