Cannot find filter in bag compartment

Hi,
If you're looking for the exhaust filter, it is on the top of the machine under the crevice tool and dusting brush.
If you look at the rear of the machine you will see a tab on the attachment holder.
Remove the attachments on the unit
Push tab on rear of vacuum on the attachment compartment
Lift cover and your exhaust filter should be exposed and should just pop right off for replacement.

HI.These are the steps that may be helpful since you haven't describe the brand of your unit.Open the storage door at the front of the vacuum.Redmove the powered hand tool. Set it aside.Unsnap and remov any attachmets at the attachment storage area.Unclip and remove the wands from the vacuum and set aside.Pull the end of the hose from the hosed tube rack.Twist the other end of the hose from the dirt duck tube.Remove the hose.Unscrew the back of the handle. If you can't remove ,it is held tightly with nbuts located at the back of the compartment bag.Pull the handle carefully from the vacuum. If it has a non built cord wrap, slidethe wrap straight up from the handle too detach it before removing the handle.Once done assemble back.Thank you for choosing fiXYA.

The vacuum is designed to be an upright vacuum or a hand held canister vacuum, or a blower.
It comes with many attachments.

When I try to disconnect the hose in order to use the hand held hose with an attachment, the dust from the bottom flies into the air. How does this opening get blocked off to ensure the dust enters...

It is a matter of Physics. It seems like you have it running when you change the hose. ?? That's a no-no.
Basically you will have o take it apart until you know how it works or wont work

Cannot remove attachment from proteam super quarter vac

Greetings, The ProTeam backpacks us a 1.5" hose and attachments. The way that the floor tool is removed is by unscrewing the collar of the attachment. Simply turn counter clockwise on the the part of the attachment that is secured to the wand and doesn't rotate. This should loosen the floor attachment, and you may then pull it off. The other floor attachment can be fitted, and then screwed on by rotating the opposite way, clockwise which will secure the attachment to the wand. I really hope that this information was helpful to you. If you ever need parts or supplies for your ProTeam, please be sure to check out GoVacuum dot com. If this was helpful to you, please rate the repair as helpful by clicking the 4 Thumbs up icons in the top part of the repair. Thank you very much, Chris J. GoVacuum

Floor attachment does not suction, no clog in the hose, hand held works when dettached from floor attachment

Have you checked the floor head? Use a pipe cleaner or twisted metal to carefully and gently see what's in there. It sounds like dirt or something has definately sealed up the main suction channel.
