Hi,

You should install audio drivers. Click this link to download and install your audio drivers. Select your device name model operating system to find the compatible driver to your e-machine, then download the compatible audio driver from the list and install.

Hope this helps.

Multimedia Audio Controller not working

Delete the driver in system tools/services in configuration, and then reboot. It should reinstall the original driver. If it doesn't, chances are your sound card is bad.

Crackling noise on sound system

This could be a defunct sound driver when it saw the sound speakers. Go to the device manager and go to the multimedia controller and delete it. Restart the machine, it should call for the correct drivers. If it says cannot find drivers, go to www.driversguide.com, sign up, then query for the correct drivers for your sound

this problem occurs when your sound driver is corrupted...
prepare the sound/multimedia driver then

go to the the control panel > system > hardware >devices manager

and click on the plus (+) on the Sound, Video and game controller
delete all the items inside this group... then click Action (menu bar) then click Scan for new hardware changes.

Hello,
You will need to reinstall your audio driver. However, if your audio is defected, then reinstalling will not fix the problem. But try reinstalling the drivers first.
Let me know what happens.

Thanks,
Lolita
