my mp3 player is frozen and won't do anything it says please wait updating play list and still won't do anything

Take it back it isnt worth the drag i know this isnt the answer u were looking for but theres no way of reseting the layer.......

The software has crashed. Turn off power, restart and retry.

Install the firmware updater from the install CD that came with the player. Plug the player into the PC. Run the updater and tick the format box. Go ahead and update the firmware, regardless of which firmware you have already. Hopefully this will fix it. Your player is made by Perception Digital. Try turning it off waiting 20 seconds and turning it back on. Sometimes that helps. If it doesn't, try looking in the users manual to troubleshoot the problem. Good luck.
