I recently found an old Lasko fan. It is light green on a short stand. It is model 1250-9. Another number near the model number is E-20739. It is a push button two speed and still works great! Is there some care it should be given to assure more years working? I wondered when it was made and if it is best to leave it in original condition. I like the obviously old look it has but my daughter wants to paint it. Thanks for any information you have about my fan.

open it. look for a wire that has become disconnected from careless factory assembly

ok everybody who has this model #2534 it seems that the motor has gone bad so you have two choices you eighter find the recipt where you brought it from but there a catch 1 year from the day you brought it from. second choice buy a new motor. third choice buy a new one. sorry!

call up the comp! or if you brought it less than a year they have to replace it the catch is the recipt!

The bearings on the motor are dry and need oil. It's really not made to be oiled, but you may be able to take it apart and get some oil to the bearings if you want to mess with it.
