Question about Samsung TX-T2793H TV
Had a power outage and then power was restored. Turned the tv on [Samsung TX-T2793H] and each time it was turned on moments later it would shut itself off. I've had the tv for two years. What could be wrong and how much should I expect to pay to get it repaired if this is the case?

I had a friend with the same problem. He had to clean the components and fans in the set. The accumulated dust had caused the set to run hot and a safety switch was the tv off. He purchased a few cans of compressed air and, as he blew the components and fans out, used a vacuum to capture the blown dust. Good luck.

We had this exact problem with our Samsung DLP about a year ago (it was 2 years old at the time). We purchased a small desk fan for $6 and placed in behind the TV. We started running the fan when watching and it fixed the problem of the TV clicking off. It was inteded to be a short-term fix, but since it's worked so well we still haven't gotten the TV fixed.
