Unable to view Names with numbers

Iam unable to view my numbers alongwith the names in my contacts.Your valued advice & immediate help is solicited & will be much appreciated.

I am unable to view contacts as I never recalled seeing any prompts, how do I view sim contacts? I have selected options prior to opening contacts but if I select MEMORY DETAILS and memory card it shows...


Hi, every nokia phones have similar menus on the them.

First to get menu there is a menu botton on one of the phone keys. click on it and it will display icons of other items on the phone.on that page there is suppose to be that has contact icon that you can get access to click on it you will see where they wrote names click to enter that is where your contact are.

Hi,

Were the details stored only in momory and sim or just the memory card? If They were only on memory then a corrupt memory might be resposible for the problem in such case you have to format th memory card..

My address book is empty


go to u adress book where the names should be. press the MENU button then scroll to FILTER. when u get to that page press the MENU then scroll to CLEAR SELECTION. this happened to me also i hope that helps u out.

Restore factory settings nokia 6101 forgoten


To reset some of the menu settings to their original values, select Menu >
Settings > Restore factory sett.. Enter the security code. The data you have
entered or downloaded are not deleted, for example, the names and phone
numbers saved in Contacts.

Unable to transfer contacts from nokia 6288 to labtop


open menu...select contacts...goto settings....press select you can see memory in use..press select again you can see an option phone and sim press select...
so now you can add many more contacts...

Display names


Select Menu > Contacts > Settings and from the available
options:
Contacts view
—To select how the names and phone numbers
are shown.
When you view the Details of a contact with
Contacts view set to Name list or Name only.
