Nokia 3500 Classic - Won't turn on properly, screen flashes
The phone is only a week old. I was transferring a song via bluetooth connection from my computer (first ever file transfer) when the phone seem to lock up. I decided to turn it off and now when I try to turn it on I briefly get the nokia logo then a white screen that flashes on and off 3 times then it goes dead. I have tried removing sim, micro sd and battery but makes no difference. Is there an easy solution to this problem or am I best off sending for repair to nokia under warranty. I'm hoping there is an easy fix as I don't want to be without a phone for a week or two if its not necessary. I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks, Jo

Since it's only a week old (in most cases 30 days or more), you should go into one of your wireless provider's corporate locations and have a tech. either fix it for you right away or they'll just give you another brand new one, within a matter of minutes.
I am convinced this will happen from my experience working for one of the larger Wireless Providers recently.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Please follow the proper instructions given below to successfully pair your Nokia E63 with the Nokia BH-213 Bluetooth Headset.
1.Ensure that your phone is ON and headset is OFF. 2.Press and hold the multifunction key (for about 5 seconds) until the green indicator light starts to flash quickly. 3.Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone, and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. 4.Select the headset from the list of found devices. 5.Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. 6.When the headset is connected to your phone and is ready for use,the green indicator light flashes slowly.
However if you are having problem with the Bluetooth connectivity of your phone the most probable cause may be a malware attack. It can be solved by cleaning your phone memory by entering *#7370# on your phone and restoring the default settings when prompted.Make sure you back up your contacts to the memory card or copy it to the SIM directory.
Hope you are satisfied with my solution. Thanks for choosing Fixya.
This process is not considered downloading but transfer, because you already have the music downloaded to your computer. You will need either Bluetooth or cable connections to connect your phone to your computer in order to make the transfer Bluetooth needs no cables but a little slower than cable connections. Connect your phone to your computer using the phone cable. or pair the computer Bluetooth with the phones Bluetooth this is easy if you already have Bluetooth on your computer such as if you use wireless keyboards and mouse, after select the songs you like to transfer and send them to a specific folder on your phone.
Firstly, turn on bluetooth on both devices pc and phone. Select the songs on you wish to transfer to pc. Then select send > bluetooth. Now your phone searching active device around phone. After awhile your computer name should displayed on your phone. ( Sometimes it requires the the password) . Then choose the pc. Your phone should transfer the song now.
With the Nokia 3650 or 3660 there are various ways to download music to the mobile phone. The first is to use the conventional data chord which connects to the phone and PC using PC suite then copy the song onto the phone.
Seccondly if your PC has bluetooth capability you could just send the music via bluetooth to the phone.
Finally you can take out the memory card on the phone and if you use a laptop slot the card into the memory card slot using a memory card adapter copy the music on the memory card and put the card back in your phone. Then you have to option of transfering from card to phone memory.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
Merry Christmas to you

There are different ways of downloading songs to your phone. To download songs using the Internet, you should have a program to use for downloading.
For example: Lime Wire, you may install Lime Wire to your computer and then search the songs that you would like to download. After downloading your favorite song using Lime Wire, you need to save it into your computer and then, connect your phone using a USB cable.
After connecting the phone, right-click the song and then select "Send To" and then select your phone.
To download MP3 using a CD as your source of music, please follow the steps below:
- Connect the phone to the computer using a USB cable. - Load the CD that carries the MP3 songs. - Explore the CD and right-click the song that you would like to transfer. - Select "Send To" and then select your phone.
You may transfer MP3 via Bluetooth. You may refer to the user manual of your phone on how to pair up your phone with another Bluetooth enabled phone and then transfer music.
