Go to and find your router's model. Then find where you can use the DMZ feature of your router on that page.

Works on my ipod but on ps3 keeps saying ip address has timed out

You may have to check your Windows firewall and also the router firewall settings to allow the device to work.
1. Windows firewall instruction found in the "Security systems" > "Windows firewall" > "Allow a program through Windows Firewall".
2. check your router user manual for the firewall settings for the router.

Saying error code 8013013d when i try to connect my internet

Hi there,

What you are experincing is a DNS (Domain Name Service) error,and this can be rectified by;

* Ensure that everything is plugged in correctly. The Network Adapter must be fit securely to the PS2 and an Ethernet cable must be securely connected to the Network Adapter. You will hear the Ethernet cable click into place when it is inserted properly.

Reconfigure your network settings. Insert the Network Adapter setup disc into your PS2 and run the setup utility. Make sure that all of your settings are correct, such as what type of network you have and what the name of your network is.

turn off your PS3 and modem. Wait a moment, then power on your modem. Once your modem has connected to the Internet, power on your PS3 and try again.

Disable firewall settings. If you have firewall settings on your network, they could be blocking the PS3 from getting a connection. Turn on your PC and go the "Network Connections" option in the control panel to disable any firewalls that are activated.

Disable your antivirus software. If you have antivirus software, this too could be blocking the PS3 from getting a connection. Open up your software and disable it and check your PS3 again

All the best,i hope this solves your network problem..
