My vivitar digital camera is not working when i connect it to my pc,its just saying connected to computer.

Make sure that your camera is turned on.
Make sure that your cable is good: try using a different cable to connect.

For fast downloading you have to install vivitar software in your PC. A pop up menu will appear when your camera connected to your PC. Otherwise you can search the directory manually.

try downloading a new driver, or reinstall program.

But a Card reader.
And if you have camera software loaded -unload it
Windows does it better.

if you are using vista, that may be the problem since I don't believe vista supports this camera

I just bought the Vivitar mini digital camera and everything installed really well but when i click on "My Camera" it say "cannot connect to camera". My camera is plugged in to the USB port properly and it shows PC on my camera but i cannot get the pictures please email me at [email protected] if you know how to help! THNX!
