Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 Digital Camera
No image in the LCD, Black

Chances are it's either broken or the backlight is not working. Either way it will have to be replaced, which you can do yourself. They often have replacement LCD screens on ebay, or the net. I bought an "as is" camera with a good LCD to replace one. There are videos on utube that show the precedure, and here is one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2Mj3Qp3xYU&feature=fvw
Oh, I called a repair shop about this problem awhile back, and they wanted to charge around $125 + tax. I ended up spending about $17 to fix it myself. You just need a couple tiny screwdrivers, but watch out for the flash capacitor, and discharge it with a screwdriver before working on the unit, or tape it so you don't touch it. Otherwise, it's not a hard job.
