Question about Sony VAIO PCV-RX462DS PC Desktop
Hi, I took my very old computer (PCV-RX462DS) from my old apartment and moved it to a different city where I now live. I wanted to copy all my old files, reinstall a system and give to my cousin who needs a computer just to browse internet.
To my surprise the computer won't power up: no lights, no sound - nothing. The only thing that I noticed is that when I plug it into the wall socket, a respective led lights up on the ethernet hub the computer is plugged into. But that's it. I tried to move the computer with care but who knows what happened. The last time I switched it on was probably 3 years ago.
Please to reset all cables inside your computer. the power supply, memory modules (have it clean), the processor, the IDE or SATA cables, the video card then try it. see if it works.
