If you are using the video cable (multi-colored jacks on one end, big trapezoid on the other) with the switch on it, make sure the switch is on tv and not hdmi. If you are using the hdmi cable (small trapezoid connection on both ends) then you need to find the video cable. You should also check and make sure that your screen settings are not for HD. Go to: System settings ---Console Settings -------Display ----------HDTV settings If the HDTV settings option is available then you have the hdmi cable attached or the switch is flipped on the video cable causing the 360 to think you're transmitting to an HDTV. Hope this helps you.
I doubt it's the 360 since everything else is working just fine. The menu works fine, the game works fine. However if you downloaded one of these maps from the marketplace it may be corrupt, and you will have to delete and re-download the map pack.
I hate to break it to you, but you may have gotten the Red Ring Of Death. It happens when playing a game and it is transmitted through online play through Xbox Live. 3 red lights will appear around the power button when your console has become infected. The Red Ring of Death may have infected your console causing it to shut down. Most Xbox 360 consoles won't turn back on but some do turn back on but they just won't play games, they will freeze up and have the dotted lines and make the buzzing noise. I'm sorry, but I think you may need a new console. You're in luck if it's still under warranty. Hope this helps!!!!
You may have to have a broadband internet connection to download the update or the game itself is not compatible. Microsoft did not make it so all Xbox games are compatible with the Xbox 360. Try looking up the games and see if they are playable on the 360.
if its just 4 that 1 game then ur disk wont play no longer. mine did the same thing. i flipped my console to the side while a game wuz in and now i get the same message along with a lot of chinese on the page. but if its wit all ur games then its ur cd drive.
