Question about Sylvania Televison & Video
I am Sorry to Hear Regarding the Problem. Unfortunately, it seems that the Remote is at Fault and it's the Time to Go for a Newer One. I wish Every Remote could Last Forever.
The Few things you could Try before Grabbing a New Remote :-
1. You already Tried Changing the Battery. So, Basic Step is already Taken.
2. You need to Clean the Connectors with a Cleaning Solution. Sometimes, Dust and Dirt Might affect the Working of Remote.
3. As there is no harm, You could Dissemble the Remote. Clean and again Assemble it. It might work as Charm.
If the above 3 Steps would not work, it seems to be a case of Faulty Sensor ( remote ) which is Quite Common. The Only Option is Replacement as Repair is never a wise Option for these remotes due to the Cost of the Defective Part.
Note - I am buying that there is nothing wrong with TV.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
