Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
I have a Neptune Washer. You can hear water behind the drum when you spin it with your hand after you wash clothes. This has been a problem for a long time. Do you know what is wrong and how much it will cost to fix it?
I don't believe you have a problem with your washer. It is NORMAL to have residual water in the drain lines and drain pump following a wash cycle. You will be able to hear the water sloshing around if you move the drum or drain lines. This is the lowest point of the drain cycle and gravity will ALWAYS cause some water to be there. As long as the water is not visible in the spin basket inside the drum, and the washer is properly draining during the wash and rinse cycles, you have nothing to worry about.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this is helpful to you.
