W/pool awm8143 not finishing cycle fault F06 flashing on display

My machine is cutting out around the wash end-rinse start. I have watched it and machine tends to start some sort of spin during wash or rinse then conks out, flashes F06. It is almost like the load is out of balance, it tries to correct it, can't, so gives up. I've never had out of balance issues before. My machine is 4 years old. Sometimes I have re-set to just rinse/drain option and that haS completed the wash for me. Now it just conks out in all the cycles, once it has done it already. Occasionally I will get a clean run with no issues. I have checked and cleaned the filter on numerous occasions.

I had this same problem, an intermittent F06 fault.  The F06 code means a tachometer fault.  After some fault-finding, I did manage to fix it.  If this error code happens to you and you know a bit about electronics, try taking apart the timer and looking for dry joints between the main board and the perpendicularly-mounted microprocessor board. Over time vibration can cause the soldered joints between the two boards to crack and fail intermittently. 10 minutes to disassemble plus 2 minutes with a soldering iron could save you a $400 repair bill.
The service manual is available for download on the web if you google hard enough.  If you have a CRO available, the tacho waveform should be a nicely-formed sine wave with a frequency proportional to the RPM.

Kenmore Front Load Washer won't complete cycle F06

Have you cleaned your machine lately? They make an in wash boost- it gets rid of the extra suds built up inside the machine that you cant see but your machine detects it and causes faults such as that. Also, there is a small wire on the control board that may need replaced if it keeps kicking the error code.

Flashing fp on my washing machine and stops half way through cycle please help

"PF" flashes if the washer loses power during a running cycle. The washer does not flash "PF" when it is first plugged in. Press START to continue the cycle from the moment that power was lost
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display and completely cancel the cycle.

We have an AWM8143 (German Made ) whirlpool front loader. The machine stopped during a wash just before the rinse cycle and is coming up with 'FH' fault on the display. The windows on both inlet...

The 'FH' fault is listed as "Water Inlet Fault" in the manual. When the windows in the inlet hoses come up with their red dots, it means that the leakage valve has tripped and shut off the water at the tap. No water will flow into the machine. This can be confirmed by first turning the taps off, then taking the hoses off at the machine end. While holding the loose ends of the hoses over a trough or sink, try turning the taps on. No water will come out. I've had the same thing happen to us. We were quoted $66.00AU per hose for replacements. I'm going to try to fix one of these hoses today. They have a sponge in them which expands when it gets wet and shuts off a valve. I'm going to try getting the sponge very wet and squishing it back down and hopefully opening the valve again. Hope this helps.

Washing machine displays an LF error code. Started last week during whitest whites cycle in rinse. I cancelled and just did rinse to finish my load. All other cycles worked and yesterday all started...

LF = Long Fill

LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.

Awm8143 F06 problem

:-) Actually that was one of the other symptoms of the F06 problem; our machine started banging and walking all over the laundry, which it never did before.  After I fixed the timer, it never did it again.  All I can figure is that when the timer was getting erratic information from the tacho, it would spin the drum too hard or something while it was waiting for the tacho to give a signal.

Troubleshooting the problem was a real pain in the **** because each time I took the washer apart to test it, the problem seemed to magically go away.  Sometimes it would do a whole cycle without any problems, and sometimes it would F06 six times in a row.  In the end that was one of the clues that helped me figure out it was a cracked solder joint.

Anyway good luck with the yours.  Thanks for the tip about FA F9, I'll remember that one...

FA is the emergency shutoff switch that detects when water is pooling underneath the machine -> a leak.
"Check float switch under machine, empty any water from catchment tray, check for water leaks or oversudsing".

Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.
