Disk may be damaged or just keep trying the entire process until it works if either of those dont work i would suggest just using a win installation disk and then download the drivers at the manufactures web site

Windows 8 error code 0xc000000e

Hi I have this error code 0xc000000e windows 8, You get three options,
1. Enter to retry
2. Press F8 for start up settings
3. press F9 for to use a different operation system.
First two options do nothing, F9 will restart computer, and the I can boot from the boot disk. I have tried to rebuild the startup files, from the disk nothing is working. I can't get into the Safe mode. Guess only option is save all files to a back up HDD, I even tried to restore to a past date.

Seems like the disk is gone. 6 years IDE hard disk is somewhat old.

Now, Samsung hard disks support SMART monitoring.
Get some tool for SMART monitoring
http://sourceforge.net/projects/smartmontools/

If it shows problem for the hard disk, then nothing can be done.
If there is important data you need, you can try file recovery softwares. But I cannot say if it will work or not.

I had to use my system recovery disc on my EMachine

When you used system recovery it is possible that some stuff got missed by pc. Nothing you did since i have seen it many times. You might wanna try reloading windows from scratch but be aware you will loose all the data of off it. This might be only way.while in set up for windows install make sure you delete old partition and then install new fresh copy of windows. You will need you OS XP disk for this. It is very easy to do so just follow the prompts and when it tells you do you wanna install new copy of windows so do and it will give you option to delete old partition and do a format on it. Once this is done just do regular install.Hope this helps.

My dell 600 goes into the blue screen and Wont Load (Error mesg)

This is quite common, and easy to fix, I have included a link below to help you.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811014

Insert the Windows Recovery CD into the disk drive and reboot the computer.
Check the computer's boot order. This must be done from the BIOS set-up before boot begins. Pressing "F2" will start the BIOS set up on most PCs. (This is not always the case, and the boot screens will tell you which button will take you to the system set-up.) Make sure that your CD drive comes before your hard disk in the boot order.
Select the drive with the Windows installation you wish to repair when you see the menu to select a hard disk drives. If you have mistakenly swapped a Windows Installation CD for the recovery disk, enter the automated system recovery and place the recovery disk in the drive when prompted to do so.
Select the drive that needs to be prepared. You will be asked for the administrator password. Enter the administrator account password if one has been set up.
Type "expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32." Windows is not case sensitive, but you must spell the commands correctly. This copies the ntoskernel.exe file to the approrpriate directory.
Press "Y" when the program asks if you want to proceed.
Enter the exit command and the reboot the system. Take the CD out of the drive and Windows should load correctly.

Raw file system

To fix the problem
Disable the S.M.A.R.T error detection feature in the CPUCool program or similar utility.
Boot to the Windows 2000 or XP installation CD, and at the Startup menu, press R for repair.
In the Recovery Console, type the following:
chkdsk /p
When the CHKDSK process has finished, reboot the computer.
Run the program again.
The error should no longer be reported unless you start using the S.M.A.R.T error detection feature again.

Error occurs with PartitionMagic 8.0
If you encounter Error 1516 with PartitionMagic 8, first run CHKDSK /F on the affected partition. For instructions on how to run CHKDSK, read How to Run Microsoft's CHKDSK from the Command Line. If this does not fix the error, try running PartitionMagic with the /IFC switch, which causes file system errors to be ignored.
To run PartitionMagic with the /IFC switch
Boot from the first PartitionMagic rescue disk.
When you are prompted to insert the second rescue disk, press Ctrl+C to drop to the command (A:>) prompt.
Insert the second PartitionMagic rescue disk and type the following:
pqmagic /ifc
Press Enter.
please go ahead and try the above steps may be it will fix it
