My internal dvd/cd driver in device managment keeps unistalling so I cannot burn music or anything this has been happening a lot over the last few months can anyone help me it is a Philips SPD2412TATA Device I have tried everything I can think of and Philips I cannt get through to them as I am a oldie but know quite a lot about computers as I have been using them since they started but this has got me tearing my hair out I need the driver as I burn lots of music for our tap dancing seniors school in queensland australia so I would be most grateful if someone could advise me on this
Have you tried unplugging the drive inside the computer turn it on and let it load then turn it off again and plug it back in it should work as the computer recongines it as a new dirve and it reinstalla it.
