Question about Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Remote Control
At times my Dell computer monitor will turn a dark green color and it might clear up within a few minutes or sometimes few days, does anyone know how to fix this please?I have looked for solutions on the internet and have checked the obvious things like the cables from the modem to the monitor.I have a Dell Dimension 3000 with a flat screen monitor and the computer is 3 yrs old.
This issue 99 times out of 100 is always caused by a short inside the monitor cable. The cables can be tight but that isn't the issue. Grasp the monitor cable at the DB-15 and slide it over your thumb at a 90degree angle. Also shake it it as you move along to find the bad spot. Alternatively if you have another monitor try swapping the two. If not, maybe you can work with a friend to see if the problem follows the monitor or the video card.
