Hi!

Try to look at the bottom of your laptop. Look for the sticker that would contain the brand and model. Also when you flip open your laptop at the bottom right of the screen you will also have the model written there. All you have to choose now is which Windows version you are using. If you are not sure, click start then go to settings and then control panel. Click on System and you will have it written there.

Also, Lenovo laptops used to be IBM Thinkpad laptops. Some Lenovo models would actually have a counterpart in thinkpad and would also have the same devices on it.

I hope this helps.

I would try other Nvidia drivers, maybe revert to an earlier driver. Don't get Nvidia drivers from MS Update, go to the Nvidia site to find drivers and suggestions.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5096... I am having a situation where the display starts to flash on and off and then a balloon pops up saying that the Intel HD graphics driver has stopped and that...

Hi there. Since the message tells us that this is a problem with the video card driver, you may try to download the latest version of Intel HD graphics.
You can first check Device Manager (Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard and enter devmgmt.msc) Check if there is a yellow exclaimation point on the list. If yes, get the correct drivers from Toshiba's website.
If none, try to expand Display Adapters and right click Intel HD graphics < Update Driver Software.

I hav downloaded intel dg31pr audio driver for windows xp but while installing it appeard as "this driver version is older than the system one". please solve my problem...,,,

Well mahatab9, you have not told us if there is any audio driver installed on your computer or not. But the error message clearly stated that, you have an audio driver already installed for your motherboard model. So, if the driver is not properly working or you just want to upgrade it, you should use Intel Auto Driver Updater for best result. This will show if there is any updated version of your installed drivers are available or not. To do this, click on the following link to automatically identify and update your drivers and softwares.
Automatically Update your Driver
Now click on "Check Your System for Latest Updates" to start analyzing your computer. This will show whether your system requires an upgrade or not.
IMPORTANT: This utility is for Intel Motherboards only.
But still, if this utility doesn't show any upgrade to your audio driver, then you can manually download this driver as your motherboard INTEL DG31PR supports the Realtek HD Audio driver only for best response. If you have already installed any other audio driver than Realtek, please uninstall that and install this one. To download this, click on this following link:
Download latest Realtek HD Audio Driver
This installation will remove any previous version of Realtek and install the newest one automatically.
Hope this helps, Regards,

My computer freezes every time i try to watch any youtube video? pls help.

Download and install the latest Flash Player (version 10.2) from: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. And then of course restart your browser.
Or if the browser is freezing the computer - try different browsers: latest Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer.
If the problem is the same on all browsers then you should update your graphic drivers: download and install a free driver updater software, e.g. http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm - let it scan and update all your missing drivers.

Igxprd32 display driver stop responding is flashed on my computer when i play games on my desktop .what can i do to fix that problem so that i can play games on my desktop

This is a problem with the GM965 chipset display driver. you need to search for the updated display driver for your computer/laptop and then install this to your system.

steps:
  • Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'
  • In Properties screen, select 'Hardware', and then 'device manager'
  • Look for 'Display Drivers/Adapters', and then look for your display drivers (e.g. Intel(R) GM965 chipset display).
  • Right click on the name of the display driver and choose 'Uninstall'.
  • Reboot your computer.
  • Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com
  • Choose Custom Update option
  • you will see microsoft page checking for updates for your system
  • once it has detected that your display driver is missing or needs to be updated
  • you can click in Hardware link on left side of screen and it will show you the old version of your display driver
  • simply install this one and you are done.
