Most monitors allow for a wall mount to be screwed on to the back with a standardized kit. I would not cut anything if I were you. Just disconnect the pedestal and use a wall bracket.

My emachine desktop monitor keeps cutting on and off by itself. What should I do?...it's really aggravating.

Hi,

There are three possible reasons for the issue:
1. Monitor power cable is loose
2. Video Adapter is faulty
3. Monitor capacitor is gone bad

Please try the below steps to diagnose the issue:
1. Check the power cable on the back on Monitor, if connected properly, like connect the power cord on a different Wall outlet
2. Unplug the signal cable from the video adapter and replug it. Also, check a different monitor (if any) on the Tower.
3. If the above steps fails, then the issue is with the monitor, it is going for repair.

Thanks and regards,
Jitha

I'm told you have to force the M4 screws to fit. This is a computer monitor with a TV Tuner not a TV with a computer input. It was not designed for wall mounting.

I picked up this monitor at a yard sale it says dc input?? is this the power supply? how do i hook up a ac cord?

If it says DC input and there are no other socket which has three prongs(this is for the AC input), all you need is an adapter, which you will plug to a wall socket and the other end would be plugged to the flat panel, it works like a transformer, just like any power supply, like for laptops, just try to find the correct voltage, 12v,16v or whatever is needed by the panel. Often you can find the voltage require on the panel itself, reading as POWER INPUT, xx volts or Power requirement.

Hi we have samsung lcd 22 inchess.. we need to fix it to wall and there is no backside stand .. how can we get the stand

Most electronic stores sell wall mounting brackets. There are several types. one mounts the LCD screen flat to the wall with a limited range of tilt. Another type mount the LCD screen on an arm that allows tilt and swing movements.

I'm a Commercial Sales Manager with ADT and I need Full Motion Wall Mounts for your Model # M19OCP2 (19" 1280x1024). Can you give me a part number and price

This site isn't affiliated with any manufacturer, so we can't give you the information you want. You'll need to contact the manufacturer of your equipment directly through their website or by phone.

One thing I can tell you is that most monitors have mounting holes on the rear that are standard dimensions. You can measure the hole spacing and shop online for a suitable wall mount. There are a lot of vendors and mounts to choose from. Unless the monitors you have require a proprietary mount, you should be able to find what you need with little trouble.

I have a 23" LG monitor W2343T PF. I have taken off the oval base, but I need to get rid of the stump that connects the monitor itself to the oval base that sits on the table. I have been to two Best Buy...

Hi,

I have checked with LG and unfortunately there is no option of taking out the stump as the monito was meant to be kept on the table over the stand which came along with it.

Bur we do have a option of all mounting the monitor as well for which you will have to separately purchase the wall mount plate.
Please call the customer services at 1300 54 2273.

According to your monitor size, you should choose the right mount fits your monitor size. Also pay attention to the mount max loading weight.

The wall mounts have various kinds of format. Such as tilt mount format, flat mount format, swivel/tilt format what you like to mount it.
You can visit the professional monitor mount store www.mount4less.com.

I bought a mag innovision model 780 monitor at a garage sale to use with my ACER mini laptop. This monitor has a manufacture date of January 2003 - it did not come with a power supply. Where is the power...

With Most Mag monitors, the plug is a simple 3 prong on the bottom side of the monitor. Though it isn't proprietary, it isn't a common power plug either. Radio Shack does carry this type of cord. Just look on the bottom side of the monitor itself. the three round plug "thingy" is where the 110v plugs in straight from the wall. Best of Luck!

Stand for Mackie MR5

My best advice to you is to get your stands where I get mine - on eBay. They usually have a great selection of stands, tripods (although I personally would not put my nice Mackie reference monitors on tripods - too unstable).

Also, you will most likely find them for quite a lot less on eBay.

However, I believe Musiciansfriend.com (my favorite web site) may be having a fall sale very soon, or end of summer sale, and they have been known to reduce their prices heavily on things like stands, sound reinforcement, and other accessories during a big sale.

If FixYa sold such things, I wouldn't be sending you anywhere off site, but since you cant get them through us, I am giving you my absolute number 1 and number 2 choices that should solve your problem well.

If looking on eBay, be sure to measure your monitors, or get the information from the literature that came with the monitors. It's bit easier on Musiciansfriend.com, and here is a link to the stands they havce available there:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navigation?q=monitor+stand

Another option is monitor wall mounts, as we have to two of four reference monitors in our home studio wall-mounted, and it's great getting them out of the way and not taking up floor space or valuable desk space.

I hope whatever decision you make will be one you are happy with.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Mounting a NEC MultiSync LCD 1560

You need a VESA mounting plate. The VESA Standard defines mounting interfaces, hole patterns and associated cable/power supply locations for LCD/TFT monitors. The monitor you have has a 75mm x 75mm hole pattern as per the spec sheet below: http://www.nec-display-solutions.co.uk/coremedia/download/62980/LCD1560VM-Datasheet-english.pdf There are many types of bracket depending whether you want the panel flat on the wall or to be able to swivel it. You can see some example on the page below: http://www.rs100.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=30_55&products_id=580&osCsid=15qvrvji4vn4uk49pcidd38q83 You need to search your location for a supplier. Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
