Question about Hemera Photo Clip Art 150,000 for PC
We have several Hemera CD sets that we use at work. The image browser that is installed insists on going out to the Internet to look for updates. Consequently the viewer hangs frequently as it can't find connection. How do we turn off this feature? I can't find an option in the tools menu nor is there an option when we reinstall the viewer. It seems to default to seeking updates.
Hemera was bought by Thinkstock...that is to say Thinkstock bought the inventory...not the customer support. They are not interested in assisting us with this issue.

Check Hemera settings and ensure that the path for the picture files is the right one, where files are stored.
Hemera usually reads the picture files from CD/DVD unit, if your system had renamed the DVD form D:\ to E:\, for example , then Emera wont be able to find files anymore.
Solutions to this problem.
Check file source folder on Hemera settings, and assign the right CD path.
Do a system restore to a date before having the problem.
If still no luck, then Windows may be corrupted, in that case , the standard procedure is reinstalling Windows, then reinstalling Hemera, and the rest of the software.
