The e2 error is a generic error that the machine shows if it's been overloaded or if the load becomes unbalanced during a wash cycle.
To fix you must do a master reset of the washing machine.
1. Close the door and make sure the dial is pointing to the "OFF" function
2. Hold the Start/Pause button and turn the dial anti clockwise (to the left) to the "express 15 min" program at the same time.
3. Hold the Start/Pause button for a minute (the e2 message is meant to start flashing after a minute of holding the button down however with my washing machine this didn't happen) (and neither with mine)
4. Release the button and turn the dial back to the "Off" function.
5. Select any program and the message should not be appearing.
This worked for me
E2 is a cold water inlet temp sensor. Has your unit experienced any freezing conditions? If it senses below 36 degrees or above 90 degrees it will show this error.
If its normal temp, and you still get this error...check your sensor. Its an 8(kohm) sensor. Make sure its not open. If it reads ok and your temp is not an issue, then you probably have a bad control board
As you said in the question you are washing machine is showing the error code as E2 is nothing but Error signal due to long heating. If you want to get repair means you just need to contact you are nearest service center for service engineer. Thanks for your question.
It's a thermistor error, the internal evaporator one... but disconnect the fridge and freezer ones first in turn to see if the error changes. If it is the internal one, you should see an arrow impression on the paper covering the insulation which marks the spot to dig(at the back of the freezer.) Usually this error occur when water ingresses the push on tags, shorting out the thermistor.
Now the bonus... 9 times out of 10, you don't need to buy a spare, as there will probably be nothing wrong with the error giving thermistor. Remove and fit the fridge thermistor in the place of the internal one... clean and dry the internal one you removed and refit it inside the fridge.
You will need to repair the insulation with two pack brown foam insulation and foil tape. deffinately this solution solves your problem. If you have any problem regarding this issue post comment more information about the problem.we will glad to assist you
The error code gets reset using the following procedure:
Ensure that the machine door is closed. Turn the dial in the OFF position. Hold down Start/Pause button and turn the dial anti clockwise at the same time until its position is pointing at the Express (15mins) program. Hold down Start/Pause button until the e2 message starts flashing (or keep holding for about one minute) Release the button. Turn the dial again to the OFF position. The machine is reset. Select any program.
If the message comes back after selecting program, then there is still a balancing problem. Remove and redistribute load, check floor and ensure machine is at level.
Hi, A few questions first.
Have you recently changed any hardware in your PC?
Have you recently had any power outs or surges?
Have you at all changed any settings in your system setup?
What type of hard drive is it?
What operating system are you using?
E2 indicates failure or out of tolerence evaporator sensor which is foamed in and not replacable.
The only repair posibility is replacement of the electronic control board which now ignors input from the sensor
