Question about Gaggenau EB294/295 Electric Double Oven

Open Question

I have just had my Gaggenau wall oven (side opening) eb 904/905 cleaned by a professional oven cleaning company. The oven trays are now difficult to slide in and out of the oven and seem to be 'stuck'. Can you give me some advice please?

I am a gaggenau engineer this is usually a fault with the door lock mechanism it can be manually reset eg remove oven and side panel pull back locking arm there is a also a built in test prog in oven clock that will switch door lock back to reset position but these will need to be done by an engineer as oven very heavy.

No you don't need to remove the oven door to change the cover of the display. You have to remove the whole unit out and remove the top lid. Don't forget to switch off the circuit breaker before doing this and be careful this unit is heavy.

SOURCE: error code F 20 on Gaggenau EB 260/262 oven

Sometimes the error light will come on because of mixed signals sent. If everything works, then just ignore it. Unplug the oven or turn power off in fuse box. This may reset the light control. Be very careful around the power source. Wear rubber bottom shoes, have dry hands and floor. Don't touch exposed wires with anything. This is 240 volts that can hurt or kill you!!!!!!

Gaggenau Wall Convection Oven EB 270 installation instrutions and electrical hook up.

http://www.gaggenau.com/US_en/service.do
you can download installations and user manuals from this site. You'd probably be better putting the full Enr (model) number in the search.
Click where it says 'All manuals available for download' this will open a window where you type in the model. You then get a long list of manual, I presume you want it in english, so pick the one that had EN in the first column and II (installation instructions) in the next column.
Hope the is what you're looking for, all the best.

I have a Gaggenau 270-271 wall oven. It is showing F 42 on the screen. what does this mean?

Open circuit in the door contact switch even if the door is locked.
If this happened during a clean cycle sometimes if you start another cycle and then switch the selector off after a few seconds the fault will right itself. If this doesn't work then you probable need a new door lock.
Hope this helps

We have an Gaggenau eb 290 oven and the error code F23 shows up - what does this mean? how can we fix it?

F23-relay electronics not selecting. There is either a fault with the pcb or a loss of continuity within the ribbon cable. Unfortunately, I think you are going to need an expert to look at this to confirm.
Sorry I cannot be of more assistance but some faults do require a physical check from a professional and cannot always be sorted out from a distance.
All the best.
