Please try this solution to the muffled sound problem...
I trimmed a tiny piece of adhesive-backed felt (the kind you put under bowls/vases, etc. you will have on your coffee table)and placed it on the little gray bump on the boom, just behind the tiny mic opening. This creates an air gap between the mic opening and your cheek - problem solved!

A great headset with pretty good reception and wonderful form factor. 5 stars if they fix the mic hole clearance problem!

If it's in warranty, you should contact Motorola for replacement. or depending on where you bought it, you may be able to return it to the retailer/wholesaler for an exchange dependent on the laws in your state/country? It's more than likely a lemon/defective unit.

How to use my H700 after charging ?

If tv is bluetooth capable, look under menus and pair with H700.
Phones if initially paired will simply need to have bluetooth 'active' (as by default it is usually off). - If not pair - you will need to go through menus under 'settings' to pair with the H700 (also at this point indicate that the H700 is 'trusted device').

Motorola H700 can't hear me talk on it?

Hi,

Have you tried to use the device with a different phone? You can also try to reset the device: Close the headset's boom (microphone) and wait for the indicator light to turn off. Open the headset's boom and wait for the indicator light to display a purple light, a purple light signifies the headset is in pairing mode.

Best Regards

My H700 bluetooth, I can hear caller but they can't hear me!

The average life of a Bluetooth Earpiece is usually a few years. When you are having symptoms like you are describing it usually means that the Blutooth headset is at the end of its service life. You might want to cintact Motorola and see if they will Warranty them.

Problems w/H700 bluetooth

Try taking a small needle and gently clearing out the mike hole near the end of the boom. Anything I am outside and sweating a lot mine will clog up and I have the same trouble until I clean it out and then it's fine. Do not insert the needle in very far, all you need is to clear the outside opening a bit.

Problem with Motorola H700 Bluetooth

rhondarenee: If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation. SithPitt

H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'

The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now. I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue. Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing? Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off. Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well. Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.
