Hello. I've an older mtd Gold series tractor 14/42 model 133M660G513 serial # (mf code) 1A22313-0177. Last year near the end of the season I noticed it running great but having a bit less power going up hills. Just didn't quite have the speed it used to have in the higher gears. I just went to cut the grass for the 1st time this year and again the motor runs superb initially when I put it into gear and released the clutch/brake pedal.. Nothing happened. But by working the clutch/brake pedal I could make the tractor very slowly creep ahead. No power at all but a creep. Barely enough to get the tractor to crawl on the flat. The pedal had to be pushed down an inch to even make it do that. If I didn't press in the pedal an inch nothing moved. If I pushed the pedal in 2'' then again nothing moved. The pedal when untouched but in gear would bounce a bit. Never ever had a problem with this old girl and have never had to do any belts etc or anything on it. Does this unit even have a clutch? Is it shot? Is it a

Check and be sure there is no oil leaking from the engine on the belts and the belts are not oily. inspect the drive belts. as they get older they crack and stretch and don't work as the should. replace the belts as you said it is a older machine. there is nothing wrong with a older machine they just need attention every now and then.

MTD model number 13RL771H029. I purchased it in 2008 with 46" deck. Are all 3 spindles the same part number

I have an operator's manual for an MTD Model Series 760-770 Lawn Tractor. This Manual seems to indicate two different part numbers for the spindles on a 46" deck. One spindle is a Double Pulley, part number 618-04134B. The other two spindles are single pulley, part number 618-0240A.

However 760-770 is a series number. So this does not necessarily match your machine. The first question is what year is your Lawn Tractor? Following is a discussion of MTD serial numbers from 1997 till now. Pre 1997 is a different discussion.

The second question is what is your actual Model Number?

Locating Your Model and Serial Numbers

The model and serial numbers are essential to find correct MTD® genuine factory replacement part numbers for your outdoor power equipment. Once you know these numbers, you can use either the illustrated parts look-up tool or the operator's manual download to easily search for the correct part numbers needed.

What should my model and serial number look like?

MTD's current (1997 and later) model and serial numbers are generally 11 characters in length. A character could be a number, dash or a letter. If 0 represented all numbers and/or dashes and X represented all letters, the model and serial numbers should appear as follows: 00XX000X000.

These are made of both letters and numbers, and typically look like this: 11AA111A111.

I need a manual for a 1998 or 1999 gardenway lawn tractor by MTD troybuilt Model #13AI617H118 Serial #1A082H10211 can you help? It's a 21H tractor 46SDIt's up above

Most of the MTD product manuals are available here: http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do?BrandCode=10001 . Just fill in the model and serial numbers.

I found two separate manuals listed: lawn tractor owner's guide and the engine operator's manual. I found the manuals only opened in IE (Windows OS) after clicking the I Accept button. The direct links are: http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Safety.do?pid=152292&model_num=13AI617H118&serial_num=1A082H10211&filename=770-10317b.pdf and http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Safety.do?pid=152290&model_num=13AI617H118&serial_num=1A082H10211&filename=274794.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Have a MTD LavmFlite - model: 136-630-656. I need a manual

Hello. In order to obtain a manual for a MTD product, a complete serial number and model number is required. To save you the middle steps, here is the link to the Canadian Products Manual Download site:
http://www.mtdcanada.com/model-search.asp
... and the European Downloads site (just in case):
http://www.mtdproducts.eu/Corporate_Manuals.aspx

I'm confident you will find what you require at one of these sites.
