Panasonic PT-50LC14 power led blinks green for a little while then blinks red. Tv never shuts itself unless unplugged from the power source. Lamp light blinks once every 5 seconds as well. Took out the lamp and the glass for the bulb was extremely cloudy? Guessing it's the lamp...any ideas?

With any lamp television, you should try the lamp first, as it is the most likely to go. If the lamp is cloudy then it most likely is bad.

I just replaced the lamp on my Panasonic PT-50LC14. Now when I turn the power on it blinks green for about 1 minute, then it blinks red. The screen never shows a picture. Not sure what to do, but I am

Have you done the lamp time reset procedure; before and after replacing the lamp? I thinks, you haven't. These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Time to get a new TV. I have similar problem. In my case, the set turns off, LED blinking green for about a minute or 2, then the set will turn on by itself. Something the LED started to blink yellow after blinking green and then shuts off. I can turn it back on. This happens 3 or 4 times in an hour. After that, the TV stays on for as many hours as I want until I shut it off.
And then the problem repeats everytime I turn it on from a cold start.
I have my eyes on the 50 inch Plasma from Panasonic. Bestbuy has one for 999.99.

Tv will not power up Panasonic PT-50LC14

ok guy's i have the same tv and simular problems, first check the lamp light located next to the sd disk input (on the front). if it's not blinking then 2 things 1) more than likely it's the lamp if you haven't replaced it by now your one of the lucky ones, you can find them online for around $100, in which i paid over $300 for two differnt bulbs. the warrent only covers 1 bulb. 2) this happens to me once in a while try unplugging it let it set for a minute or two, replug it back in and try it again. but it depends if the light shines yellow (orange) and blinks twice, then try it again. you kinda have it cycle through and that should work. if not then unplug the unit, then take off the front cover and use a philips screwdriver remover the bulb (located behind the cover in the front) then i highly recomend doing this on a weekend pull out the shop vac and **** out the dust inside the lamp housing, then take off the back housing along with the left side speaker and first clean it out with a rag, then go through it with the shop vac. basically if dust builds up the unit will trap the heat and that it's why it will overheat and shut down.

Panasonic PT-50L14 50 inch will not turn on.

i looked at a copy of you owners manual, look at page 97 to 100. I suspect the red blikning light is the lamp led. if it is i suspect a bad lamp. the lamps are customer replaceable. page 98 show how to replace the lamp. unplug the tv & remove the lamp, look at it to see if it is damaged (inside the lamp is there any broken pieces of glass?) lamps are around 150.00 to 500.00. good luck.
