Question about Dell Latitude C510 Notebook
I put a c610 bios update in my dell c510 latitude is there anyway i can undo what i did ? this is a used computer it runs fine. i just went to the dell website drivers and download section wanting to improve on something i should have left well enough alone. So the computer works fine like i said except when i restart the computer due to updates or for whatever. When the computer starts the screen will be black and you really can't find the pointer or see much of anything i believe the c610 bios update i put in could be my problem i have no recovery disc so i could use some help. I'm not on facebook either.

Go back to the Dell website and enter your computer model number and then go to the support tab and then find the bois file list and see if there is any earlier bios files that you could reflash the bios with an older bios version. Or, if you saved your old bios to a file before you updated to the newer bios you could reflash the bios using that one. You did save your old bios didn't you? Does your computer boot to the OS ok or not. I really don't have enough information from you to really help any further. Sorry, Dennis
