Question about Washing Machines
Hi Tech 17. Following up on your reply - Well it turns out that the machine will stiil not spin with water in it. After putting the pump back in (after finding the nickel in it), the machine went into the spin (with all water drained from the basket from my taking out the pump). To confirm that it would spin I put it into a full wash cycle. At the end it would not spin and all water remained in the basket with the clothes. I'm wondering now if it will not spin because the water is not being pumped out and it is not being pumped out because the pump impeller was damaged by the nickel and therefore the pump needs to be replaced?
