If you mean to turn off the water to the faucets, they should be installed under the sink where you can get at them. Usually they are put right on the end of the supply pipes coming up from the cellar.

Hot water doesn't work

Does any water come out of the faucet when turned to hot? If not, you may have disconnected the fautet line from the valve and attached the dishwasher line. You can check this by looking under the sink and making sure all lines are connected to valves.

If everything is connected, you may have dislodged some mineral buildup and it is blocking your hot water line to the faucet. You'll have to remove the line and clean it out.

Kitchen faucet

You will need a basen wrench ( a special wrench to tighten nuts that secure faucet to sink) and open end wrenches. First shut off both hot and cold water valves. Using open end wrench, disconnect hoses from valves. Now, you must loosen both nuts (under the sink towards back wall) Using the basen wrench. After removing nuts, lift faucet up

No hot water pressure in kitchen, low cold pressure

sounds like a bad faucet//only if you had good pressure before it was installed..to cheaply test..take the hot water off from the shutoff valve and spray it into a milk jug to see if theres good flow..then replace the faucet assmbly..dont forget to turn off the shutoff valve first..or you will get a watery surprise!

Are whole house inline water filtration systems expensive?

House filtration systems are pretty pricey they run in the several hundreds dollars, and then replacement filters are in closer to $20 and they only last a few months. If you don't need a filter on every faucet you can install individual filters under the sinks in your kitchen.

The kitchen sink faucet is clogged

If it just the hot or just the cold then it will be the shutoff valve not the faucet. replace the valve/s under the sink Try checking the screen in the head of the faucet for sand. If it does not have a screen(some dont) then it will have a restrictor usually green in color that may have debris inside of it.

I replaced the kitchen sink and hooked everything up, I have water pressure to the faucet but when I turn on the water it just drips out. what's wrong here

Check to see that the cutoff valves under the sink are fully open. Also be sure that any shipping plugs or caps in the lines were removed prior to installation.
