could be a bad connection underneath..remove keyboard, after the panel that covers above the kb. The small board my have become dislodged(should be tagged down with two screws). If not that, then motherboard is unhappy.

got backup for your Acer?

Make sure the NUM LOCK key is pressed ( a light should be on just above the key which is located above the number pad).

SOURCE: enter key not working

If after some time in front of a fan (to dry the keyboard out), the keys still do not work, you will need to replace the keyboard.
Just in case it was more than water (ie. soda pop, energy drink, koolade,. etc with sugarin it). you may need to do more than just replace the keyboard s the connector on the motherboard may have gotten sugar in it as well.

Keypad on right side doesn't work

Try pressing your numlock (top left of the keypad) and try the numbers again. Try your keyboard in another computer -- if they still dont work, you have a hardware failure ... time for another keyboard. If it works on another computer, then I would recommend right-clicking on "My Computer" and selecting "Manage". Go into the hardware manager, and delete your keyboard, and reboot. The Windows will find your keyboard and reinstall the drivers, hopefully resetting whatever configuration was previously blocking your keypad keys.

Have you tried pressing the NumLock-key?
It is located right above the key "7" on the numpad/calculator pad.

You probably activated the "Num Lock" accidently. Just hold down the FN and look for the key that says "num lock" Now you should have your keyboard back and the numbers will just type when you hit the numbers key. I did this to myself yesterday!
