I get the blackscreen error on my inspiron mine. I've read articles that say this is the registry corrupted and how to fix it with a cd. However as I have an inspiron mini I don't even have a cd drive. How can I fix this?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 stuck in windows boot manager file \windows\system32\config\system status: 0xc000014c info: windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt ...

Here's part of an article on how to replace that registry file:

Look in the C:\windows\system32\config\regback\ folder.
There should be copies of the registry files stored inside that folder.
They are backed up periodically and stored in that folder.

If you create a MiniWin, BartPE, or a Linux Live CD, you can start the computer from CD and move the file system to the required folder, C:\windows\system32\config\.

My cd driver wont read any cd or give me them bk how do i fix it

Is your CD showing up under "My Computer"? If not, sounds like you might have a corrupt registry entry. Go to Microsoft.com and do an article search for "disappearing CD & DVD". There is a fix that can be downloaded.

Can't eject the cd/dvd and computer doesn't read the disc

Okay, if your registry was corrupted, you would be experiencing more symptoms, but as the error suggested the registry is the problem, I am going to ask, what your anti-spyware/ antivirus software is, just to know whether a virus is possible or unlikely.

Code 39 drivers corrupt or missing

Hi, the error code that you have is a known issue from Microsoft that needs a registry tweaks. Error code means "Windows cannot load the device driver fro this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (code39)". You can click on this link for your reference http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929461/en-us

To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers. To do this, follow these steps:1. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in the Programs list.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
2. Locate, and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Caution There can be many instances of the registry subkey that is mentioned in step 2. You must make sure that you are in the appropriate registry subkey before modifying the UpperFilters and the LowerFilters values. To verify that you are in the appropriate registry subkey, make sure that the Default data value is DVD/CD-ROM and the Class data value is CDROM.
3. In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters, and then click Delete.
4. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the UpperFilters registry entry.
5. In the right pane, right-click LowerFilters, and then click Delete.
6. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the LowerFilters registry entry.
7. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

This will surely help you resolve your issue. Good Luck!!!

Thanks

NONWORKING CD ROM

try to look for a firmware update for your cdrom and try to reload the drivers for that. your cdrom may just need an update from the manufacturer.
