Just because it glows that does not mean it is not bad...
The ignitor is not working right and is going bad....
have the repair man replace the ignitor, or DIY....

I have a whirlpool gold self-cleaning oven accubake system super capacity 465. The oven will not get worm. The burners work just fine. The oven runs thought it pre heat time but never gets worm.

While I can't solve your problem, I can say, you are not alone. I own this oven and have been having major issues with it, I have had service men out to my house 3 times and still it isn't fixed. We were told that this particular oven is an experimental only has 4 working parts. The pilot/ignitor for the burners AND unit are the same, so if burners work it has nothing to do with your pilot light or ignitor. More than likely it is the thermostat OR the motherboard. Thankfully we have home owners insurance and have only had to pay $60 to get them to come and fix it. If you are not so lucky you may just want to call Whirlpool, give them a piece of your mind and then go buy a different brand oven.

Moffat Stove with a self-cleaning oven. I would like to know how to clean the oven using the "self cleaning" feature

hi there! I have a moffat stove and hopefully these instructions help you.
First clear out the racks in your oven. Take them out and remove any excess chunks at the bottom.
Then close your oven door and lock it by pulling the lock latch.
Now looking at your oven knobs [not your burner knobs] turn both of them so they are both on the arrow knob [your oven knobs should have small pictures on them and both should have arrows]
Now you need to set the time so in the middle of your oven their should be a timer and one start and stop timer on top of each other. Both timers go in increments of half an hour. So if you are starting your self cleaner at 3 move the dial to 3 or if you are starting at 3:30 move the dial to one tick after 3. Once you set your start timer, you need to set your stop timer.
Setting your stop timer, it is recommended to set it for 3-5 hours. I set mine for 4 hours. So then set stop timer to time you want the cleaning to be. If you set your start timer at 3:30 put your stop timer at 7:30.
The oven will start cleaning according to the time you set. The oven will get very hot. I recommend to not used the burners as the temperature goes to 500 degrees! You will smell an odor and that is your oven cleaning.... Hope this helps...

Beeping noise from oven - won't stop

Try going to the fuse panel and shutting the breaker off to the oven for about 15 minutes. Hopefully the EOC ( electronic oven control ) will reset it self and you will be good to go.

Error f1 and beeping sound when the oven is on. Heating non stop.

Your digital panel may still be under warranty. It may be worth your while to have a tech look at it. Something else is going on here.

Self-cleaning feature of GE Built-In Oven does not work

Simply set the Clock and Delay Start to the current time, then set the Stop Time ahead 3 hours. For example, if it is currently 8:00 then set the Stop Time to 11:00. The lights on the console will come on and the cleaning cycle will begin. At some point during the cycle when the oven gets hot enough, the lock mechanism is "fixed" and will not release until the cycle is complete.
