Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
My daughters playstation starts normal and all of a sudden turns to a black screen and doesn't do anything. and that happens with all her games. what might be the reason of that?
You need to replace the system by returning it at wal-mart or just buy a new one. There is a ribbon that leads from the laser eye to the processor board is broken or come undone burnt or the laser eye itself is worn out. The problem could also be the processor or the video processor on the board. It would be cheaper to buy a new one or exchange. Paying a technician to fix it is going to cost more than a new unit.
