SOURCE: I have a Coleman Powermate Pulse 1750 generator.

Engine speed is low, does your meter read frequency? Set for 60 Hz @ speed. I doubt there is a voltage regulator adjustment. This may help

SOURCE: No Power Output

Okay, this is going to sound kind of hard but you can do it...you need to flash the field and try to get some 'excitation' back to the windings. It's a bit of a deal but here's how:

With gen not running, plug the battery charge plug in to the charger output and you need to reverse the leads at the battery. Hook the BLACK to the positive post. Then, just touch the red to the negative terminal for a second or two. That's it!
Then...start gen and check output. If it just needed a flash, that will do it, I'm serious!

SOURCE: coleman powermate plus 1750, changed gasoline,

check the carborator see if the butterfly valves or closed, than see if the govener can move back and forth and than go farther and if you move the throttle will the govener butterfly valves move. if that is stuck move it or use some lubricant and there should be 2 linkages, 1 inbetween the throttle and the govener, and 1 inbetween the govener and the carborator.

Coleman pulse 1750. Low volts

If you have checked the AVR you can disconnect the rotor brush wires and force a field in the rotor with a variable DC supply (note brush polarity) if the AC voltage comes up, then the problem is in the voltage regulator, if not you may have a rotating short in the rotor.(Only present with centrifugal force) I assume you have checked the resisitance of the stator and rotor windings

I need a diagram of the carb for my powermate 1750. I need to clean and, well you know!

nah, you don't need a diagram. Very very simple. Just make sure that all pieces stay where you lay them down.

If you are already cleaning it, consider putting in a rebuild kit. That will also (usually) have a diagram as well.

Hi im working on a coleman powermate/pulseplus 1750 generator, i can not seem to get any spark, i cleaned the magneto, and fly wheel and still no spark, and i had the magneto check, the guy said theres...

As silly as this is going to sound, make sure the oil level is right. I have a Powermate 6250 that did the same thing to me. Turned out the oil was just a little too low and the sensor was killing the power. When you try to start it, the red light will be flashing in the on/off switch, that's the low oil indicator. Hope this helps.

My Coleman Powermate Pulse 1750 generator shuts down

Your generator should run a power tool rated at 10 amps. The 15 amps you mentioned for the PM1750 is for the DC rating. The AC rating is 11.6 amps.
